I started dating a great guy, 7 years older than me. I was 19.

We quickly fell in love and moved in, we were together for a total of 3.5 years.

In the second year or so we lost passion, the kind we had at the beginning. Became roomates almost. It was tough but we talked about having a break, then I actually decided to step up and break it off. No matter how much I cared for him, that on its own does not equal love, or indicate you should start a family. He is older yes, but not ready for marriage or to be head of the household. We were too passive for one another.

Moving on.. after a year or so of staying in touch and a feable half-a**ed attempt at dating again, I ended all contact when I met someone new. We have been dating for over 2 months and we already are in love. True love. The kind that makes you want to settle down and do things other people will say are ‘crazy’ or too soon. But then if you don’t, it’ll be too late.
